KAYAKERS will be tagged off by the paragliders and start their course just outside Silverton, and attack the infamous Upper Animas River on an exhausting 27 mile descent down class IV and V waters, for a 2,075 foot drop (approx 80 ft/mile).

Fastest individual split time in Kayaking, regardless of team finish, wins a $500 award and a special trophy presented by Red Bull Divide & Conquer and Kayak Session Magazine.
